Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant (COTA) – Full-Time

Andover Forest Post Acute Care Center
North Andover, MA
$33–$38/hour

Post Rehab is seeking a compassionate and motivated Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant (COTA) to join our rehabilitation team. This full-time opportunity is ideal for a clinician who enjoys helping residents improve independence and quality of life while working in a collaborative skilled nursing and post-acute care environment.

What You'll Do

• Provide occupational therapy treatments under the direction of a licensed Occupational Therapist
• Assist residents with activities of daily living (ADLs), upper extremity function, balance, coordination, and mobility
• Carry out individualized treatment plans designed to maximize functional independence
• Monitor resident progress and communicate updates to the supervising Occupational Therapist
• Educate residents and caregivers on adaptive techniques, equipment, and safety strategies
• Complete accurate and timely clinical documentation
• Collaborate with PTs, SLPs, nursing staff, and the interdisciplinary care team

Qualifications

• Active Massachusetts Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant (COTA) license required
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Skilled nursing or rehabilitation experience preferred but not required
• New graduates are encouraged to apply
