Emergency Technician 0.75 FTE Day

Description Emergency Technician at Providence Portland Medical Center is a 0.75 FTE part time position working during weekdays and weekends on a day shift. Works closely with all members of the emergency team to provide direct patient care to optimize positive patient care outcomes. Assists the physician/nurse practitioner during procedures by providing the appropriate sutures, supplies, instruments, and equipment. Maintains proper sterile technique during the procedure. Required Qualifications 1 year relevant experience; patient care or clinical experience preferred. Experience acquired during certification or licensure process, military experience as medical personnel or senior clinical nursing student is also considered. Upon hire: National Provider BLS - American Heart Association. Upon hire: Prevention and Management of Assaultive Behavior (PMAB) Annually. Preferred Qualifications Upon hire: Current or previous EMT, Paramedic, Completion of Medical Assistant Program or CNA certificate. Posted are the minimum and the maximum wage rates on the wage range for this position: $20.19 - $30.26.
