Memory Care Activities AssistantAs a Memory Care Activities Assistant, you'll support the Memory Care Director in creating a safe, stimulating, and enjoyable environment for residents living with memory challenges. Your enthusiasm and empathy will help residents feel connected, happy, and engaged.Memory Care Activities Assistant Duties and Responsibilities:Develops monthly themed activity calendar for residents based on the Memory Care Program Daily Routine.Carries out monthly activity calendar with varied activities.Recruits, organizes, trains, and recognizes volunteers to expand and supplement the Memory Care program while including the largest number of residents possible.Involves resident families, the community, and volunteers in activities to help the resident transition and maintain a satisfying wellbeing and positive state of mind.Encourages residents to participate in meaningful activities.Maintains all activity areas in a neat and orderly manner.Participates in Family Support meetings when needed.Maintains community involvement.Memory Care Activities Assistant Qualifications and Skills:Must be willing to work flexible hours, including some evenings and weekends due to special events.Valid State issued driver's license and must be 21 years of age.Equal Opportunity Employer This employer is required to notify all applicants of their rights pursuant to federal employment laws.
