The Position We’re looking for a Concrete Foreman responsible for accurate reporting of materials, equipment, and hours of work as well as the management and safety of the personnel on his/her crew, the safety of the public, and ensuring regulatory and safety measures are maintained. Operate a variety of power equipment and use other machinery as needed. Perform other duties as assigned under the direction of the Superintendent or other management. Responsibilities Accurate reporting of materials, equipment, and hours of work. Manage crew personnel and ensure safety of crew, public, and regulatory compliance. Operate power equipment and other machinery as required. Perform additional duties as directed by management. Qualifications Valid driver’s license and satisfactory driving record. CDL desired but not required. High School diploma or GED equivalent preferred. Punctual and dependable. Ability to work varied hours, including nights, early mornings, and weekends. Ability to work in variable weather conditions and dirty, dusty environments. Member of a local trade union or willingness to become a union member after hire. 3–5 years of experience in the construction trade and 2–4 years in a sub‑foreman or leadership role. Ability to manage own time and the time of other construction personnel efficiently. Ability to motivate, develop, direct, and lead a team. Prior leadership experience.
