About the Role: As a CBRE Technical Trainer you will work to become a subject-matter-expert (SME) to provide enterprise technical expertise across key technology disciplines by developing standardized curriculum, supporting Technical Training Centers, partnering with OEMs, expanding field training capability, and leading Train-the-Trainer initiatives. You will play a critical role in ensuring the efficient and effective delivery of field training services in preventative maintenance, technical troubleshooting, and repairs on equipment and systems. What You’ll Do: Support management by designing solutions for difficult problems and managing projects. Maintain and troubleshoot various conveyor systems in the network. Oversee and audit preventative maintenance procedures. Install, maintain, and troubleshoot relay reasoning, ladder diagrams, control components, etc. Create and close out work orders with data including labor hours, equipment maintenance and parts used. Develop and implement training plans for field technicians to include scheduling and conducting remote and in-person training. Create work plans for emergency repair of critical assets. Apply general knowledge of standard principles and techniques/procedures to accomplish assigned tasks and solve routine and non-routine problems. Have a broad knowledge of own job discipline and some knowledge of several job disciplines within the function. Lead by example and model behaviors that are consistent with CBRE RISE values. May convince to reach an agreement. Impact the quality of own work and the work of others on the team. Work primarily within standardized procedures and practices to achieve objectives and meet deadlines. Explain complex information to others in straightforward situations. What You’ll Need: High School Diploma, GED, or trade school diploma with 3-4 years of job-related experience. In lieu of a diploma, a combination of experience and education will be considered. Meet the physical requirements of this role including stooping, standing, walking, climbing stairs/ladders, and the ability to lift/carry heavy loads of 50 lbs. or more. Ability to travel up to 75% of the time. Understanding of existing procedures and standards to solve slightly complex problems. Ability to analyze possible solutions using technical experience to apply appropriate judgment and precedents. In-depth knowledge of Microsoft Office products. Examples include Word, Excel, Outlook, etc. Knowledge of other software products. Examples include learning management systems, work order management systems, etc. Strong organizational skills with an inquisitive mindset.
