About the Role The Community Outreach Team is a dedicated group responsible for promoting Foodsmart's foodcare program in partnership with Santa Clara Family Health Plan (SCFHP). This part-time contractual position plays a pivotal role in increasing enrollment in the Foodsmart program by identifying community partners and events, and creating a strategy to increase enrollment through onsite activations and referrals. We are seeking a candidate who possesses strong interpersonal skills, a deep knowledge of the Santa Clara County community, and a passionate belief in Foodsmart's commitment to food as medicine. The ideal candidate will have experience navigating the diverse communities of Silicon Valley - including large Latinx, Vietnamese, Filipino, and South Asian populations - and will bring an on-ground presence to connect SCFHP members to Foodsmart's nutrition support services. Please note that this is a part-time position with up to 25 working hours each week.
