Job Description & Requirements Specialty: Labor and Delivery Discipline: RN Start Date: 09/28/2026 Duration: 13 weeks 36 hours per week Shift: 12 hours, rotating Employment Type: Travel Registered Nurse - Labor and Delivery (RN) The Registered Nurse works in a collaborative and cooperative relationship with other members of the health care team, planning and implementing patient and family education. This role is responsible for assessing patient needs and initiating appropriate interventions. Minimum Qualifications: Montana Licensure (Registered Nurse) American Heart Association BLS Certification Neonatal Resuscitation Program Provider certification required (NRP recertification required every 2 years) Electronic Fetal Monitoring Series Certificate of Completion (or equivalent AWHONN approved course) (Not required if a Lactation RN) (FHM recertification required every 2 years) American Heart Association ACLS certification (Not required if a Lactation RN) Competence in and a willingness to practice modified primary nursing Two hours of initial cerebrovascular disease (stroke) education If Lactation RN: Certification in lactation consulting/counseling (CLC, IBCLC) Preferred Qualifications: One year of labor and delivery experience Essential Job Functions: Collect comprehensive data pertinent to the patient’s health or situation. Schedule Requirements: This role requires regular and sustained attendance. The position may necessitate working beyond a standard 40-hour workweek, including weekends and after-hours shifts.
