Responsibilities
- Identify medical issues in the ED, determine severity, and provide immediate stabilization to minimize adverse outcomes and support life when needed
- Perform triage, prioritize patient conditions, monitor status, and respond to rapid changes in patient condition
- Administer medications and treatments per physician orders; manage IVs, monitoring devices, and life-support equipment
- Collaborate with physicians, nurses, and multidisciplinary teams to deliver timely, evidence-based care
- Document patient assessments, interventions, and outcomes accurately; communicate clearly with receiving teams and families
- Maintain patient safety, adhere to ED protocols, and participate in code/rapid response activities as required

Requirements
- Licensure: Oklahoma RN license or compact state license in good standing
- Experience: Minimum 2 years ER experience (required)
- Certifications: BLS (AHA), ACLS (AHA), PALS (AHA) required; NIHSS certification and TNCC preferred
- Recent traveler experience: Preferred
- Education: Nursing education appropriate for RN practice; ability to work in an ED setting
- Additional: Two supervisory reference forms dated within the last two years; Work history and skills checklist current to 1 year
- Local considerations: Permanent address noted; local candidates may be considered at a reduced rate
