Production Lead

IQ Resource Group is seeking a Production Lead in Redgranite, WI. If you have solid work history, prior experience in a manufacturing environment, a strong mechanical aptitude, a high attention to detail, Shift: 1st shift – 6am to 2:30pm Monday thru Friday (if OT, would typically be 5am to 3:30pm during the week) Wage : $17/hr Job Description: Assist the Plant Manager in overseeing the day-to-day production demands are met, ensuring jobs/materials are ready, preparing labels, pulling items that need to be shipped, training team members, and performing quality checks. Ensure the quality of the products meet customer specifications. Use calipers and tape measures, as well as perform visual checks. Will address quality issues, troubleshoot, and recommend actions to reduce future nonconformance. Will be trained to operate a forklift upon hire on. May assist in preparing paperwork and entering/pulling information from the computer. The current production team consists of 6 team members Qualifications: Must be able to lift 30 lbs. consistently, and up to 50 lbs. Prior experience in a manufacturing environment, a strong mechanical aptitude, a high attention to detail, a strong focus on quality, and the ability to utilize measuring equipment. Prior experience with calipers is helpful, but this can be trained. Must also be able to perform basic math, work in a fast-paced environment, and be able to make decisions and direct team members. Must be able to type 25 words per minute and be comfortable with Microsoft Word. High School diploma or equivalent preferred #J-18808-Ljbffr
