Join Our Caring CommunityThe Medical Records Clerk assembles, organizes, and manages patients' health information and charts. You will perform basic administrative, operational, customer support, and data-entry tasks, primarily working on routine, structured assignments. You will report to the Center Administrator.Job ResponsibilitiesEnsure all medical forms are identified, completed, and signedEnter required patient information into the electronic records systemCommunicate with physicians and staff to clarify diagnoses or obtain additional informationAssign codes to diagnoses and proceduresOperate within defined work expectations, quality standards, and priorities, under close supervision and established guidelinesRequired QualificationsBilingual English and Spanish2+ years of Medical Records experienceStrong organizational skillsProficient in Microsoft Word and ExcelQuick to learn new systemsExcellent written and verbal communication skillsWilling to travel locally, with occasional overnight staysCommitted to enhancing consumer experiences within a continuous improvement environmentPreferred QualificationsAssociate's or Bachelor's Degree in a related fieldPrevious healthcare or health insurance experienceFamiliarity with medical terminology and/or ICD-9 codesWork Hours: Monday – Friday 8:00 to 5:00Location: Onsite at Pembroke Pines, FLAdditional Information: This role is considered patient-facing and is part of the company's Tuberculosis (TB) screening program. If selected for this role, you will be required to be screened for TB.Scheduled Weekly Hours: 40Pay Range: $38,000 - $45,800 per yearThis job is eligible for a bonus incentive plan.
