Refrigeration Service Technician 

A growing commercial refrigeration construction/service company is looking for immediate hire, a full-time REFRIGERATION SERVICE TECHNICIAN. The ideal candidate will need to have at least 5 years of commercial /industrial refrigeration experience, be dependable, a team player, and have good attendance. 

 
Requirements:  
• 5+ years of commercial/industrial refrigeration work experience (EPA 608 certification required) 
• Must be willing to travel and work occasional overtime/weekend hours. 
• Must have a valid driver's license and a clean driving record. 
• Preferred training includes: OSHA 10 card, scissor cert, reach lift cert, CPR & First aid. 

 
Responsibilities: 
• Ability to perform service, installation, preventative maintenance on all types of refrigeration equipment. 
• Ability to inspect, troubleshoot, diagnose and perform repairs 
• Perform start up on equipment and machines 
• Electrical troubleshooting 
• AC repairs 
• Recovery and reclaiming 
• Drain repairs, change motors, clean coils 
• Complete work orders and paperwork in a timely manner 
• Other miscellaneous tasks 

 
Qualifications: 
• Certified in EPA 608 (Type 2 or Universal) 
• Previous experience in commercial HVAC, refrigeration or other related fields 
• Familiarity with refrigeration systems 
• Strong verbal and written skills 
• Strong problem solving and critical thinking skills 
• Electrical troubleshooting 
• Strong customer relations skills
