Tax Compliance Analyst

Our client, a leading organization in the finance and accounting sector, is seeking a Tax Compliance Analyst to join their team. As a Tax Compliance Analyst, you will be part of the Finance Department supporting the Tax Compliance team.
Job Title: Tax Compliance Analyst Location: Berkeley Heights, NJ Pay Range: $44 per hour What's the Job?- Preparation of accurate and timely sales and use tax returns
- Prepare monthly sales/use tax journal entries, reconciliations, and working papers to support the General Ledger tax account balances
- Assist in determining nexus, identifying filing requirements, and registering to ensure tax compliance across all US state and local jurisdictions
- Respond to state and local tax notices and inquiries promptly and professionally
- Research various tax issues to support compliance and strategic decision-making
- Business Degree in Accounting or Finance
- Minimum 5 years of previous tax compliance experience
- SAP experience or equivalent financial software required
- Taxware experience or other tax compliance software required
- Strong PC skills including proficiency with MS Office applications
