Seeking an Electrical or Electromechanical Engineer to join a cross-functional engineering team and provide electrical design and analysis solutions, process development support, and hands-on development for industrial machinery in the thermal cutting and positioning industry. Candidates with a Bachelor’s degree will be prioritized, though Associate’s degree candidates may be considered. Koike is willing to train candidates who demonstrate a strong work ethic, a desire to learn, and a proven record of success through GPA, work-study, or co-op experience. Starting pay is based on degree and experience.

Responsibilities

• Design controls for machinery and automation systems.
• Design AC/DC and servo motor systems.
• Develop and apply PLC programs.
• Develop and apply CNC programs.
• Use CAD tools, especially AutoCAD Electrical, and Design Vault Systems.
• Apply electrical and industry standards, including UL and NFPA requirements.
• Maintain strong organizational and documentation practices.
• Support hands-on mechanical development activities.

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering or a related field preferred; an Associate’s degree may be considered.
• Knowledge of electrical and industry standards, including UL and NFPA.
• CAD experience, especially with AutoCAD Electrical.
• Hands-on mechanical aptitude.
• Strong organizational and documentation skills.
