Registered Nurse - Critical Care Resource Team (Days)

Job Description Utilizes the nursing process for assessment, planning, implementation, and evaluation to provide safe, therapeutic care. Functions as a member of the interdisciplinary and nursing teams; carries out established nursing procedures and performs related duties as required; performs nursing care for patients with more complex needs with assistance and supervision. Assists with the management of patient care administered by other members of the nursing team. Responsibilities Responsible for maintaining the knowledge and abilities essential to the performance of stated behaviors. Carries out legal responsibilities within the scope of the Nurse Practice Act. Accountable to the NURSE SVC SUPV 2 for overall work performance. Qualifications Required Qualifications: A minimum of five years recent RN experience in Pediatric Critical Care (PICU, NICU or Peds CICU). Minimum level 3 NICU. This position requires flexibility to orient and work at all UCSF Medical Center locations. Preferred Qualifications: BSN Pediatric CCRN Experience in two or more Pediatric Critical Care areas (NICU, PICU or PCICU). Required Licenses/Certifications Current licensure as a Registered Nurse in the State of California. Current healthcare provider CPR certification. Current healthcare provider PALS certification.
