You'll work on telehandlers, forklifts, scissor lifts, boom lifts, skid steers, and other construction equipment while enjoying a consistent Monday-Friday schedule and excellent long-term growth opportunities.What you'll love about this role:No overnight travelWork on a diverse fleet of construction and industrial equipmentStable, year-round workModern tools and equipmentGrowing company with advancement opportunitiesTeam-oriented culture that values safety and craftsmanshipHeavy Equipment Mechanic Responsibilities include but are not limited to:Diagnose and repair diesel engines, fuel systems, hydraulic systems, electrical systems, drivetrains, and mechanical componentsPerform preventative maintenance, inspections, annual services, and equipment readiness checksTroubleshoot complex mechanical and electrical issues using diagnostic tools and technical manualsRepair and service telehandlers, forklifts, scissor lifts, boom lifts, skid steers, mini excavators, generators, trailers, and related equipmentConduct safety inspections and identify equipment deficiencies prior to rental or deliveryReplace and repair hydraulic hoses, cylinders, pumps, valves, and related componentsPerform welding, fabrication, and component replacement as neededTest equipment after repairs to ensure proper functionality and safety complianceAssist with field service calls when necessaryCoordinate with parts suppliers and management regarding repair needs and inventory requirementsMaintain accurate service records using computer-based maintenance systemsAssist in equipment setup, customer support, and technical guidance when neededHeavy Equipment Mechanic Requirements:Heavy equipment mechanic experience preferredDiesel mechanic experience requiredExperience working on telehandlers, forklifts, scissor lifts, boom lifts, skid steers, and other construction equipment strongly preferredExperience with hydraulic, electrical, and diesel systems requiredManufacturer certifications and equipment-specific training are a plusStrong computer skills are required to complete work orders, diagnostics, inspections, and repair documentationMust possess strong problem-solving and troubleshooting abilitiesValid driver's license requiredAbility to work independently while remaining a collaborative team memberSafety-first attitude and commitment to quality workmanship requiredAbility to lift and carry up to 75 pounds regularlyAbility to stand, walk, bend, kneel, squat, crawl, and climb throughout the workdayAbility to work indoors and outdoors in varying weather conditionsAbility to use hand tools, power tools, diagnostic equipment, and welding equipment safelyAbility to safely service equipment weighing up to and exceeding 21,000 pounds
