Pediatric SLP in Kansas City, MO

Embark on a rewarding contract opportunity as a school-based Speech-Language Pathologist in the vibrant Kansas City, MO area. You'll join a French Immersion School environment-no French required-servicing students from Kindergarten through 5th grade. The position spans from August 11, 2026, to May 28, 2027, providing stability and the chance to make a lasting impact throughout the school year.


Responsibilities include:

• Delivering high-quality speech and language therapy to students with a mixed caseload of mild to severe needs
• Collaborating with educators and support staff to implement individualized education plans (IEPs)
• Conducting assessments, monitoring student progress, and generating detailed documentation
• Providing teletherapy services as needed and adapting to various learning modalities
• Engaging in creative interventions that promote student participation and progress

Desired experience and qualifications:

• Active SLP license and certification (CCC or eligible for CFY)
• Prior experience in school settings (SLP - School, SLP - Pediatrics) and comfort with school-age populations
• Familiarity with teletherapy platforms is a plus
• Strong ability to work independently while supporting two educational sites
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Compassion, flexibility, and strong organizational skills

You'll enjoy a Monday through Friday schedule, working 8 hours each day, and will be compensated between $45 and $55 per hour, depending on experience.
