Job Description

As a Security Officer Clearance Required Front Desk in North Charleston, SC , you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Tech/Media/Telecom, and more. Join Allied Universal at a dynamic technology location as a Front Desk professional, serving as the first point of contact for employees, guests, and visitors. In this visible role, you will help support security-related operations through access control, communication, and exceptional customer service. Pay Rate: $24.72 / Hour

Job Schedule:

DayTimeMon04:00 PM - 12:00 AMSat08:00 AM - 08:00 PMSun08:00 AM - 08:00 PM

What You'll Do:

Provide customer service at the front desk by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and/or emergency response activities appropriate to the location.
Monitor lobby and reception activity, greet visitors, verify identification and/or access credentials, and direct guests, employees, and vendors in accordance with site protocols.
Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, and communicate relevant details to site contacts and/or emergency responders when needed.
Support access control operations by documenting visitor entries, issuing temporary badges or passes, and maintaining accurate front desk logs and reports.
Observe front desk and nearby entry areas for unusual activity and help to deter unauthorized access through consistent presence, attention to detail, and professional communication.

Minimum Requirements:

Possess an active DoD Top Secret clearance.
Have at least 1 year of armed security-related, law enforcement, and/or military experience.
Be at least 21 years of age.
Possess a law enforcement officer license.
Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
