Job Description & Requirements Specialty: CCU - Coronary Care Discipline: RN Start Date: 09/21/2026 Duration: 13 weeks 36 hours per week Shift: 12 hours, nights Employment Type: Travel Cardiac ICU Registered Nurse Schedule This is a 13-week contract position with a Night shift of 3x12 hours (19:00 - 07:30). Job Description We are seeking a strong Cardiac ICU Registered Nurse with experience in critical care settings such as CCU or CVICU. The ideal candidate will have in-depth knowledge of advanced cardiac devices and diagnoses commonly found in our patient population, including LVAD, Impella, IABP, and CRRT. The position requires comprehensive care for cardiac/medical intensive care patients as well as some step-down overflow. Responsibilities Provide care for patients with advanced cardiac devices and diagnoses. Manage dysrhythmias and perform interpretations as needed. Administer medications and treatments, including continuous IV sedation and blood products. Conduct post-cardiac surgery care and pre/post-cardiac catheter interventions. Perform arterial line management, hemodynamic monitoring, and CRRT. Maintain patient ratios of 2:1 for intensive care. Support interdisciplinary collaboration with various medical teams. Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure Minimum of 2 years of cardiac ICU experience. Current ACLS, BLS, and NIHSS certifications. Experience with Epic EMR preferred. Knowledge and experience in post-operative care (not directly from the OR) and sheath removal. Demonstrated ability to care for ventilated patients and manage invasive lines. Why ARMStaffing?
