Rare Disease Account Specialist - CAH, Westchester, NY

Neurocrine Biosciences seeks a Rare Disease Account Specialist to lead commercial efforts for a first-in-class congenital adrenal hyperplasia treatment in the Northeast. The role focuses on building relationships with healthcare providers, academic institutions, and payers while providing clinical education and maximizing territorial sales.
Responsibilities
- Lead implementation of patient-centric model across physicians, clinics, and hospitals
- Develop and maintain strategic relationships with centers of excellence and health systems
- Create and execute territory business and account plans aligned with brand strategy
- Provide clinical education on CAH disease state and treatment standards of care
- Navigate payer landscape to ensure provider awareness of coverage and reimbursement
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree and 4+ years biotech/pharmaceutical sales experience
- 5+ years calling on prescribers of specialized, high-value products
- Proven launch experience in complex, competitive therapeutic environments
- Proficiency with Salesforce, business intelligence, and CRM platforms
- Documented sales performance and recognition in specialty pharma or biotech
- Experience in rare disease commercialization preferred
- Expertise building relationships with key accounts and academic institutions
