Supply Chain Analyst The Supply Chain Analyst serves as the primary contact for their assigned Principals and will assist our Principals, warehouses, sales, and internal departments in resolving any issues or inquiries. The role involves consistently meeting key performance indicators, ensuring industry‑leading service levels, and supporting the company’s return on investment. The analyst partners with team members to identify opportunities for process improvement while upholding the company’s core values in day‑to‑day operations. Responsibilities Manages assigned Principals and fully understands product attributes, contacts, and major customers. Maintains inventory turns, service levels, and slow‑moving stock within set KPI thresholds. Runs analyses to confirm stocking locations and minimum order quantities remain appropriate. Updates forecasts monthly and proactively consults with sales on changing customer demand. Develops and utilizes sales models for “A” category COGS items. Ensures Principal Playbooks are accurate. Submits Principal expectations and On‑Time‑in‑Full revision summaries monthly. Updates reorder reports monthly, moving demand to proper locations, updating lead times, and removing irrelevant comments. Follows up on “C” item over‑order and expired stock reports consistently. Resolves conflicts by collaborating with the team, warehouses, Principals, sales, and internal departments. Assists other team members as needed to achieve department goals. Develops and completes projects to improve processes and procedures as part of 90‑day action items, submitting updates weekly. Understands how job responsibilities affect other departments and the company’s success. Participates in ongoing education (e.g., monthly APICS meetings, webinars, cross‑training). Attends and participates in department meetings and joint customer service meetings. Engages in continuous improvement initiatives. Participates in annual physical inventories at warehouses, as needed. Completes necessary support work, as assigned. Proven track record of supporting internal and external departments with valuable contributions as part of a team. Proven record of efficiently managing the company’s inventory investment through strategic planning. Ability to conduct business and communicate professionally while working within deadlines. Ability to complete root‑cause analysis to fix problems, not just symptoms. Exhibits ambition and willingness to learn. Organized and detail‑oriented. Required Qualifications Bachelor’s degree or 5 years of relevant experience. Proficiency in Excel. Experience with ERP systems. Desired Qualifications Lean or Six Sigma experience. Customer service experience. Member of APICS or ISM. APICS Certification. Work Environment This job currently operates on a hybrid schedule, rotating between in‑office and remote work environments. The role uses standard office equipment. Position Type / Expected Hours Full‑time position. Hours are Monday through Friday, 8 a.m. to 5 p.m., unless otherwise directed. Additional hours may be required as needed. Travel Some travel is expected, up to 10% of the time.
