Schedule Details:

Monday 7:00 AM EST - Monday 7:00 AM EST

Provider onsite approximately 8-10 hours per day

Monday-Friday scheduled coverage with weekend call included

Night call responsibilities include:Beeper coverage24-hour weekend call

Rarely called back onsite after hours; most after-hours responsibilities are phone consults

All shifts run:7:00 AM - 7:00 AM

Department Description:

Main OR / Endo Suite (Kingsport)Endo Suite (Bristol)

Patient Population:Adults, with occasional patients younger than 18

Patient Volume:

Consult volume variesAverage 5-6 procedures per 24-hour call shiftEstimated procedure volume approximately 7-8 procedures per day

Supporting OR staffIn-house Endoscopy nurses

Procedures:

General Gastroenterology proceduresERCP requiredMay assist with rounding as neededFlexibility around EUS scheduling and procedures availableBlocked time available in the endoscopy suite

Requirements:

Board Certified Gastroenterology - RequiredActive Tennessee license - RequiredIMLC acceptedLicense must be active prior to confirming datesACLS - RequiredBLS - RequiredERCP - RequiredMust be well experienced in all General GI and ERCP cases and procedures

Team Structure:

Requesting 1 PhysicianProvider will work 1:1 with an APP
