About the Role

The Company is seeking an Executive Director for Logistics, a pivotal role in the oversight of emergency response logistics operations across multiple states. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing large-scale logistics readiness, including the deployment of resources for disaster response, and ensuring that all equipment and teams are prepared for rapid deployment within a short notice. This executive-level position demands a hands-on leader with a strong command presence, decisive and confident under pressure, and the ability to lead a team with high accountability. The role also involves managing vendor relationships, contracts, and external partnerships, as well as representing the organization in the emergency management community. Applicants must have a Bachelor’s degree, at least 10 years of experience in logistics, supply chain, and emergency operations, and a background as a first responder, with a preference for a paramedic qualification. The ideal candidate will have a Master’s degree, be based in Texas or have a strong familiarity with the Texas emergency management network, and have experience with state-level emergency response organizations. The role requires a leader with energy and drive, who is not in a retirement role, and who can immediately step into a senior leadership position. The Executive Director will be expected to lead and develop a logistics team, manage a multi-million-dollar inventory and fleet, and ensure the organization's readiness to respond to emergencies across the specified states.
