Production Supervisor

Overview We are seeking a Production Supervisor to oversee and coordinate daily production activities to ensure products are manufactured safely, efficiently, and in accordance with quality standards. This role leads production teams, supports operational goals, and maintains a positive and compliant work environment. This position will be fully on-site. Job Details Hours: Monday - Thursday, 3:00 pm - 1:30 am with overtime on Fridays as needed. Location: on-site. Benefits Medical • Dental • Vision • 401K Responsibilities Oversee and coordinate daily production activities to ensure products are manufactured safely, efficiently, and in accordance with quality standards. Lead production teams, support operational goals, and maintain a positive and compliant work environment. Supervise, coach, and support production staff to meet performance and quality expectations. Communicate job expectations and provide regular feedback and performance evaluations. Support hiring, onboarding, training, development, and corrective action processes. Manage daily production workflow to meet output, efficiency, and schedule targets. Conduct routine floor oversight to monitor production conditions and identify improvement opportunities. Ensure materials, equipment, and staffing levels are adequate to support production needs. Monitor production records, review variances, and report performance results. Coordinate production schedules and adjust plans as needed to address operational issues. Schedule regular meetings with employees regarding future events and work schedules. Lead and sustain Kaizen and continuous improvement initiatives to enhance operational efficiency and reduce waste. Maintain and update visual management systems including Kanban boards, production schedules, and performance metrics. Utilize Value Stream Mapping insights to identify bottlenecks and drive process improvements. Ensure smooth and complete shift handoffs (SHINE process), including daily updates on metrics, production status, and priorities. Qualifications 5+ years of experience in manufacturing as a Supervisor or similar role. Associate degree acceptable with minimum combination of education and 3+ years of similar work experience.
