Registered Nurse (Primary Care)

Registered Nurse - Primary Care (Salem, MA) Responsibilities Assesses an individual’s basic health status and related patient care needs for patients who call the clinic or who present for scheduled or unscheduled care Analyzes and interprets data and makes informed judgments related to patient care Evaluates outcomes of basic nursing interventions and initiates changes in care plans Collaborates and communicates with primary care providers and other care team members Reviews refill requests from pharmacy and patients based on medication refill protocol Administers immunizations and medications and performs other procedures as needed, including but not limited to EKGs, suture removals, wound dressing changes, ear irrigations, PPD application and interpretation, and blood pressure checks Provides health education to individuals and families to further patient self management Requirements 1-2 years of direct patient care experience as an RN MA RN license, active BLS EPIC Experience Schedule / Shift Monday - Friday (8:30am - 5:00pm) One evening shift 11am - 7:30pm on Wednesday One Saturday rotation every 1-2 months Benefits Paid Sick Leave (Medix provides paid sick leave according to state and local sick leave ordinances) Health Benefits / Dental / Vision (Medix offers 6 different health plans: 3 Major Medical Plans, 2 Fixed Indemnity Plans (Standard and Preferred), and 1 Minimum Essential Coverage (MEC) Plan).
