About the location Nestled along a two‑mile (3.2‑kilometre) stretch of beach in Puerto Rico’s Bahia Beach community, Four Seasons Resort and Residences Puerto Rio is also surrounded by its own 483‑acre (195‑hectare) private nature reserve. The property is seamlessly integrated with its natural surroundings, allowing guests and residents to immerse themselves in the white sand beaches, verdant walking trails, and myriad outdoor activities – from golf, tennis, swimming and beyond. About the Role The Food & Beverage Manger role is responsible for curating exceptional, personalized dining experiences across all Food & Beverage venues. Will plan, organize, control and direct the work of employees in the Outlets while ensuring guest satisfaction. You will be highly visible on the floor, working closely with operational leaders to elevate guest satisfaction, engagement, and loyalty. What You Will Do Select, train, evaluate, lead, motivate, coach, and discipline all employees in the Hotel’s Outlets to ensure that established cultural and core standards are met. Daily activities and planning for outlet operation. Evaluation of staff through daily standard testing as well as the annual employee review. Coordination of staffing for developments in service to include maintaining of learning tools. Be visible in the operation, provide recognition, promote good public relations, and handle complaints, concerns or special requests for guests, clients, and group contacts, as well as train and develop staff on dealing with guest complaints and building guest connections. Develop client relationships to establish a core return guest as well as proactively seeking new clientele in appropriate manners. Conducting regular competitive analysis of the competitive set as well as menu and service analysis. Describe and ensure quality of all food items, ingredients, and preparation methods, as well as provide knowledge of wine and spirits in an elegantly appointed environment dedicated to an attentive and distinctive dining experience. Responsibility for regular wine lists as well as creative cocktail research and development of existing services. Control labor and operating expenses through effective scheduling, purchasing decisions, and inventory and control. Management of labor expenses. Support VIP guests, special events, and bespoke dining experiences. Ensure compliance with Four Seasons policies, health and safety standards, and local regulations. What You Bring Previous experience in Food & Beverage operations or guest experience leadership within luxury hospitality. A genuine passion for service excellence and creating memorable guest moments. Strong leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills. High emotional intelligence and the ability to manage guest concerns gracefully. Detail‑oriented mindset with a proactive, hands‑on approach. Ability to work flexible schedules, including evenings, weekends, and holidays. Cultural awareness and comfort engaging with an international clientele.
