Field Service Engineer (Mechanical/Marine Engineer) As a Field Service Engineer (Mechanical/Marine Engineer), you will provide field service technical direction in support of US Navy aircraft carrier, submarine, and other support vessels. You will provide technical direction primarily associated with the shipboard installation and overhaul of Curtiss Wright product such as steam turbines, pumps, trip throttle valves, and electrical generators. You will be providing engineering oversight to key clients throughout the disassembly, inspection, complex report writing, repairs, reassembly, and testing of related equipment. Typical work environment is industrial in nature where odd hours and weekend work is not uncommon. Location: Chesapeake, VA Salary: $100,000 to $110,000 Please note that the salary range information provided is a general guideline only, reflecting a position based in VA. Must be US citizen and be able to obtain and maintain DOD security clearance. Shipboard construction environment experience preferred. Prior experience with maintenance overhaul activity on complex rotating machinery, preferably steam turbine experience. Willing and able to travel up to 25%.
