Food Service Coordinator

This is a client-facing, service-oriented role that would be an excellent fit for someone with a hospitality, restaurant, catering, or food service background who enjoys taking care of people but is looking to transition out of the late nights and unpredictable hours often associated with the hospitality industry. This position offers a professional, Monday-Friday office environment while still allowing someone to utilize their hospitality and customer service skills.

Food Service Responsibilities

• Prepare and set up meeting and conference rooms with beverages, food, serving equipment, and appropriate supplies in a timely and professional manner.
• Assist with the setup, service, and cleanup of catered client meals and internal office events.
• Receive food and beverage deliveries and verify the quality, quantity, and accuracy of orders.
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of kitchens, conference rooms, break areas, and other food service spaces throughout the day.
• Regularly restock beverages, snacks, utensils, plates, napkins, and other kitchen supplies.
• Maintain conference room catering supplies, including Sternos, chafing dishes/pans, serving utensils, plates, and related items.
• Monitor inventory levels and communicate supply needs to the appropriate staff for reordering.
• Wash dishes and food service supplies by hand or load and unload dishwashers as needed.
• Clean refrigerators, cabinets, coffee machines, kitchen appliances, and other food service equipment as needed.
• Provide professional, friendly, and attentive customer service to clients, guests, attorneys, staff, and fellow employees.
• Maintain a valid Texas Food Handler Certification through an accredited program.
• Follow proper food safety and sanitation procedures, including Hazard Analysis and Critical Control Point (HACCP) principles.
• Assist with additional office events and food and beverage needs as requested.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

Candidates should be polished, dependable, organized, and comfortable working in a professional office setting. This is especially well suited for someone who loves the service and hospitality side of the industry but is ready for more consistent daytime hours and a Monday-Friday schedule.
