Senior Medical Laboratory Scientist- Transfusion Services

Overview Sentara RMH Medical Center is hiring an experienced Sr. Laboratory Scientist to work full days (0600-1430) in the Clinical Lab in Transfusion (Blood Bank). Sign on bonus up to $20,000 for qualified candidates. Location Harrisonburg, VA Work Shift First (Days) Responsibilities As a Sr. Laboratory Scientist, duties include performing laboratory testing and interpreting test results using scientific knowledge and principles of test procedures and disease processes; recommending contingency testing. Directly responsible for developing, maintaining, and managing daily technical operations, including staff training and education, implementation of instrumentation, and accreditation readiness.
