Field Installation Specialist

The Field Service Installation Specialist is responsible for the installation, maintenance, troubleshooting, and technical support of SOTER RS Full Body Scanners and related systems at customer sites throughout the United States. This role requires strong technical aptitude, excellent customer service skills, attention to detail, and the ability to work independently in secure correctional environments.

Key responsibilities include performing on-site installation, calibration, maintenance, and repair of scanning equipment, as well as diagnosing and resolving hardware, software, electrical, mechanical, and network-related issues. The Specialist will also provide customer training during installations and ensure systems are properly configured and operational.

The Specialist is responsible for accurately documenting installations, repairs, maintenance activities, and service visits, while maintaining organization and accountability of tools, equipment, and replacement parts in secure environments. The role also includes conducting customer follow-up to ensure satisfaction and successful system operation.

This position requires responsiveness to emergency and non-standard service calls within established response-time guidelines, as well as participation in a rotating on-call weekend support schedule.
