IT Help Desk Technician

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES: Responds to IT service requests and support calls, troubleshooting and resolving basic hardware, software, application, and connectivity issues, or escalating them to the appropriate IT personnel. Providessupport for desktops, laptops, peripherals, and other end-user technology, including installation, configuration, and troubleshooting. Handles routine user account administration, including account setup, access changes, and password resets. Installs and supports standard software and applications. Documents service requests, troubleshooting performed, and resolutions within the IT ticketing system. Sets up and deploys technology for new and existing users. Performs routine operational and system support tasks, including reports, backups, and troubleshooting as required. Maintains IT equipment and asset inventory. Communicates effectively and professionally. Follows Company and departmental policies and procedures. Performs all other duties as assigned. JOB REQUIREMENTS: Must have access to reliable transportation. This position is on site only. One (1) to two (2) years of IT support, help desk, desktop support, or related technical experience preferred. Working knowledge of computer hardware, Windows operating systems, Microsoft Office applications, and basic networking concepts. Strong troubleshooting, problem-solving, and interpersonal skills. Ability to learn and support a variety of systems and applications. Must be able to successfully complete the background check and licensing process, required by the Delaware Lottery. Must exercise discretion and maintain confidentiality when handling sensitive information. Must be able to wear the assigned uniform provided by Delaware Park. Must be able to walk and stand for at least a full eight (8)-hour shift. Must be able to lift up to 40 lbs. and push or pull up to 50 lbs. Ability to bend, reach, pull, push, kneel, squat, and grasp as needed. Must be able to work a flexible schedule based on business needs, including evenings, weekends, and holidays. Must be able to work throughout the property in environments that may include extended walking distances, confined spaces, noise, music, varying lighting conditions, and varying temperatures #J-18808-Ljbffr
