Housekeeping Room Attendant Duties & Responsibilities
Sample responsibilities for this position include: Ensures the cleanliness of guest room hallways, elevators, public areas and service corridors in accordance with hotel standards Adheres to the hotel’s lost and found policies and procedures Clean, dust, wax, scrub, polish and service guest rooms daily in accordance with hotel procedures Be responsible for signing out, securing, and returning of hotel passkeys for each day worked room keys found in checked-out rooms Follow all procedures when responding to any hotel emergency or safety situations, including but not limited to, handling blood-borne pathogens, sharps Complies with hotel’s health, safety and hygiene regulations Ensuring the safety and well being of guests by checking guest occupancy and verifying that rooms have been vacated and reports any inconsistencies to the executive housekeeper, hotel manager or housekeeping supervisor Participating in Emergency Procedure as per hotel’s Policy & Procedures Immediately reports and turns over found items to Housekeeping Office in accordance with hotel procedures Daily detail& clean up to and including 15+ rooms per day
