Position Summary

Cecil Atkission Motors is seeking a dependable and motivated Lube Technician to join our service team. This entry-level automotive position is responsible for performing routine vehicle maintenance services while delivering quality workmanship and excellent customer service. The ideal candidate is team-oriented, eager to learn, and committed to maintaining a safe and efficient work environment.

Responsibilities

• Perform oil changes, tire rotations, battery testing, fluid checks, and other routine maintenance services
• Inspect vehicles for additional maintenance or repair needs and report findings to service advisors
• Maintain accurate repair orders and service documentation
• Ensure all work is completed according to dealership and manufacturer standards
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of the shop and work area
• Properly use and maintain shop tools and equipment
• Follow all safety policies and procedures
• Assist technicians and service staff as needed

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred
• Previous automotive or mechanical experience is a plus, but not required
• Basic knowledge of vehicle maintenance and automotive systems
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
• Strong attention to detail and reliability
• Positive attitude and willingness to learn
• Valid drivers license with acceptable driving record

Physical Requirements

• Ability to stand for extended periods
• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds
• Frequent bending, kneeling, and reaching
• Ability to work in varying shop temperatures
