CLC Compounding Manager

This role is part of Alcon's Manufacturing function, a team that designs, produces, and delivers innovative eyecare products to more than 140 countries. The CLC Compounding Manager primarily leads a team to ensure productivity and alignment with departmental goals, planning, directing, and monitoring production activities, liaising with various departments, managing production line maintenance, and ensuring a safe work environment. Responsibilities Oversee day‑to‑day operations, ensuring productivity and alignment with departmental objectives. Plan, direct, and monitor production activities to meet specifications, schedules, volume/cost/wastage targets, and quality standards. Liaise with Manufacturing Engineering, Supply & Logistics, Sales, and other departments to develop production schedules and allocate labor/capital resources. Foster a culture of excellence by leading performance management, driving talent development, ensuring positive associate relations, enhancing associate engagement, recognizing achievements, and driving a strong safety culture. Plan, prioritize, and manage production line maintenance and downtime to minimize disruptions. Lead or participate in quality investigations and deliver continuous improvement initiatives. Ensure a safe work environment and develop pipeline talent. Make operational decisions impacting team performance and operational efficiency. All associates must adhere to GxP regulations by strictly following SOPs, maintaining accurate and complete documentation, ensuring rigorous quality control, and completing all required training. Associates are responsible for meeting their individual job requirements and contributing to the overall compliance of the organization.
