Metal Prep - 2nd Shift

Imagine Your DayIt’s early in Port Washington and you’re part of the crew that makes great products possible. At Molded Dimensions, you’ll transform metal components into perfectly prepared, bond‑ready surfaces for our precision molded rubber and cast polyurethane parts used across heavy equipment, small engines, marine, waste management, automotive, medical food processing, construction, and mining.On a typical shift, you’ll gear up, don required PPE (including a respirator when working in the spray booth or designated areas), and get to work:Set up sandblasters and grinders, and use hand and power tools to prepare metal substrates.Apply primer with a spray gun to ensure optimal rubber-to-metal adhesion.Inspect surfaces, correct imperfections, and verify readiness against specifications.Follow SOPs and work instructions to keep quality consistent.Coordinate with production teammates to hit daily throughput goals.Keep your work area organized and safe.Accurately log material usage, production data, and quality results.Where You’ll Work and WhenRole based at our Rubber facility in Port Washington with openings on:1st Shift: 5:00 a.m. – 1:00 p.m.2nd Shift: 1:00 p.m. – 9:00 p.m.What You BringHigh school diploma or equivalent.Comfort wearing required PPE; respirator use is necessary in the spray booth and certain areas.Experience in metal prep, surface treatment, or similar manufacturing work preferred.Hands-on proficiency with sandblasting equipment, grinders, and common shop tools.Ability to read technical drawings, specs, and work instructions.Strong eye for detail and commitment to quality.Clear communicator and reliable team player.Willing to work the assigned shift (1st or 2nd) and occasional overtime.Compensation & BenefitsCompetitive hourly pay based on experience.Weekly paychecks.Potential pay increase at 6 months from start.Medical, dental, and vision coverage.401(k) with company match.Career growth and professional development opportunities.Grow With UsIf precision, pride in workmanship, and a fast-paced environment excite you, we’d love to meet you.
