We are seeking an experienced mortgage loan officer with strong marketing, communication, and analysis skills to join our team and assist loan applicants in securing the ideal mortgage for their new home purchase. If you are passionate about providing top-notch service to the clients and have a proven track record of retaining and building a client list, please start your application today!Compensation:$50,000 yearly + commissionResponsibilities:Interact with customers, realtors, processors, and underwriters to ensure a smooth transactionProspect, develop, and maintain relationships with potential new business referral partners such as realtors, builders, bank colleagues, and the community at largeCommunicate a thorough understanding of different loan programs and closing costs to help prospective buyers make a decisionManage a large pipeline of loans to ensure your production meets our requirementsEnsure accurate and timely preparation of all required documents from borrowers, loan officers, title companies and other related industry professionalsAs a Mortgage Banker with us, you'll guide borrowers from application to close while also developing and maintaining strong referral networks. Your day-to-day will include:Managing borrower relationships from inquiry to fundingBuilding and maintaining a healthy pipeline to meet production goalsInterfacing with processors, underwriters, real estate agents, title companies, and attorneys to ensure timely closingsReviewing and gathering documentation to meet underwriting requirementsMonitoring each file for accuracy, compliance, and forward movementProspecting and nurturing relationships with Realtors, builders, and community partnersStay focused on the craft of lending and do not lead GenDevelop Top-Tier client experiences without drowning in pipeline chaos so that we create a referable experience every timeQualifications:Knowledge of state and federal regulations, and company underwriting policies and guidelinesProvide excellent interpersonal and customer service skills, superior written and verbal communication skills, and exceptional decision-making abilityFamiliarity with multiple types of loans such as conventional, fixed/ adjustable, FHA, VA, USDA, bridge, non-conforming, FNMA and FHLMC, and Home Equity Lines of CreditSeveral years of experience in real estate, mortgage origination, or lending requiredMaintain current registration with the National Mortgage Licensing System RegistryActive NMLS Mortgage Originator License (required)Proven experience in mortgage origination, real estate, or financial servicesStrong understanding of lending regulations, underwriting guidelines, and borrower qualification standardsProficiency in Office Suite and loan origination platforms (e.g., Calyx, Experian, LendingWise, a plus)Bachelor’s degree in Business, Finance, Real Estate, or related field preferred, or seasoned experience levelExcellent communication, client service, and time management skillsAbout CompanyOur mission is simple: serve with honesty, integrity, and competence.What sets us apart?Small enough to move fast.Experienced enough to get things right the first time.Supportive enough that you’re never alone on an island.Established relationships with decision-makers — you get answers quickly.We offer a workplace where your expertise is respected, your work matters, and your ideas help shape how we operate. #J-18808-Ljbffr WizeHire, Inc
