An opportunity is available for a night shift Pharmacist to work in a large, fast-paced hospital environment in Houston, TX. This 13+ week contract position requires a licensed pharmacist who is comfortable working independently and efficiently within a dynamic inpatient setting. The role offers the chance to apply and develop clinical skills in a busy institution known for high standards of patient care.

Schedule:

• Night shift hours
• Flexible to travel and relocate for the duration of the contract

Key Responsibilities:

• Accurately verify and dispense medications in compliance with hospital policies
• Collaborate with healthcare teams to optimize pharmacotherapy for inpatients
• Manage medication inventory and ensure safe storage practices
• Provide clinical drug information and support to medical staff
• Document all pharmacy activities according to regulatory requirements

Qualifications:

• Active Texas Pharmacist license
• Texas IV certification required
• Minimum of 2 years of inpatient pharmacy experience
• Experience with EPIC electronic health records is a strong plus
• Strong communication and clinical problem-solving skills
