A leading 500+ bed hospital in a major medical center is seeking an experienced Night Pharmacist to provide expert pharmaceutical care during overnight shifts. This dynamic inpatient role is crucial for supporting critical patient needs in a fast-paced, high-volume environment.

Location: Houston, TX
Schedule: 7 on, 7 off night shifts (9:00 PM – 7:30 AM)
Contract Length: 13 weeks with potential for temp-to-hire

Key Responsibilities:

• Verify and dispense medications with accuracy and adherence to hospital protocols
• Collaborate closely with medical staff to optimize patient medication therapy
• Monitor inventory and ensure timely replenishment of pharmaceuticals
• Utilize the EPIC electronic health record system to document and manage patient data (preferred)
• Maintain compliance with all state and federal pharmacy laws, including sterile compounding guidelines

Qualifications:

• Licensed Pharmacist in Texas with an active Texas license
• Valid Texas IV certification
• Minimum of 3 years of inpatient hospital pharmacy experience
• Experience with EPIC system preferred
• Strong clinical judgment and effective communication skills during night shift operations
