Depot Technician

CTG is seeking to fill a Depot Technician position for our client. Location: Durham, NC Duration: 12+ months, with possibility for extension Schedule: Full-time, onsite position in Durham, NC. Hours may fall between 7:00 AM and 7:00 PM, with typical shifts of 7:00 AM–4:00 PM or 10:00 AM–7:00 PM. Rotational Saturdays and occasional overtime may be required. No travel required. Duties: Diagnose, test, and repair POS/computer hardware, printers, displays, system units, and components. Perform bench repair, parts replacement, cleaning, diagnostics, and mechanical testing. Document repairs, parts usage, and work activity in computer systems. Pick, pack, and ship components and customer orders. Maintain quality, productivity, safety, and an organized work area. Train new employees and support team operations as needed. Skills: Electronics and computer hardware repair Troubleshooting and diagnostics Hand tools and component repair General computer skills Testing procedures and documentation Attention to detail and quality Teamwork and organizational skills Experience: 1+ year of electronics repair or assembly experience required. Computer hardware repair experience preferred. Education: High school diploma or equivalent preferred. Excellent verbal and written English communication skills and the ability to interact professionally with a diverse group are required.
