Financial Crime Compliance professional with 8 years of progressive experience in AML, KYC (CDD/EDD), Sanctions Screening, and Transaction Monitoring within the banking and financial services domain. Proven expertise across complex investigations, quality reviews, escalations, audit support, and regulatory compliance, with experience aligned to Senior Analyst / Lead roles in both Banks and FinTech organizations. Key Responsibilities Conducted detailed reviews in Sanctions Screening alerts in line with regulatory and internal policies Analyzed sanctions alerts using tools such as name screening and transaction screening applications, ensuring compliance with OFAC, UN, EU, and local regulations Prepared and documented case narratives, risk assessments, and escalation notes for senior review and compliance approval Work with other team members to ensure project deadlines are met. Conduct research and development to improve Process automation, FTE / Cost Saving. Participate in team meetings to discuss project updates and progress. Skill Requirements Managed end-of-the-end financial crime reviews spanning onboarding KYC, sanctions screening, and ongoing transaction monitoring Applied risk-based decision-making aligned to fast-paced FinTech operating models Identified unusual activity patterns and assessed exposure across payments, wallets, and digital transactions.
