Job Opportunity – Emergency Department Registered Nurse – North Carolina

Schedule: Every other weekend required, flexible scheduling to meet department needs; no floating outside the Emergency Department

• Nurse-to-patient ratios typically 4:1 for medical patients; up to 7:1 for behavioral health holds
• Support staff includes dedicated techs for cardiac monitoring, triage, and internal processing, plus unit clerks available on all shifts
• Cerner documentation system with GE monitors and Baxter pumps

Requirements:

• Current North Carolina RN license or ability to obtain prior to start date
• Minimum 2 years of nursing experience with at least 1 year in an Emergency Department setting
• Experience in a Level II trauma center, comprehensive stroke center, or high-volume ED (100,000+ visits annually) preferred
• ACLS, BLS, PALS, TNCC, CPI, and NIHSS certifications required before start date
• ENPC certification required within 90 days of hire
• Demonstrated teamwork mentality with ability to provide real-time coaching and feedback
• Flexibility to work in all sections of the Emergency Department
