Personal Banker Associate II - Livernois-Lyndon We are seeking a Retail Personal Banker II. Selected candidates will complete a 4-8 week onboarding and education program with rotations in Operations and Sales & Service, culminating in a certification. General Function Role is a sales position focused on sales development and relationship building, promoting deposits, loans, fee‑based services and customer retention. Responsible for selling a full range of banking products and services, and for using consultative sales and service processes. Accountable for the risk management process, adhering to policies and procedures, and ensuring actions drive positive customer experiences. Essential Duties and Responsibilities Use the consultative sales process and Financial Needs Assessment to build thorough customer profiles. Maintain knowledge of retail consumer and small‑business products and recommend appropriate solutions. Utilize CAMP and other marketing tools to proactively reach out to customers and set up financial reviews. Focus on cross‑selling to existing customers and engage in outside sales such as community events. Collaborate closely with Business Partners (Mortgage, Small Business, Commercial and Investment) to provide holistic solutions. Consistently meet or exceed customer experience and production goals, driving revenue growth. Provide guidance to CSRs on the sales and referral process. Promote customer satisfaction with a friendly, helpful demeanor. Act confidently by answering customer questions and resolving issues. Maintain confidentiality and trust in all business matters. Follow the Bancorp Code of Business Conduct and related policies. Adhere to established policies while opening/servicing all retail products. Participate in the consumer loan and bankcard process, owning sourced loans from application through closing. Participate in opening/closing processes for the Financial Center or Bank Mart as directed. Stay up to date on procedures to mitigate fraudulent activity and risk. Supervisory Responsibilities None. Minimum Knowledge, Skills and Abilities Required College degree or equivalent work experience with transferable skills. Preferred experience in the financial industry. Ability to develop comfort with sales activities targeting new and existing customers. Proficiency in advanced math functions for credit and financial analysis. Professional appearance and effective verbal/written communication. Working knowledge of retail policies and ability to make sound decisions. S.A.F.E. Act registration via NMLS required at hire. Working Conditions Normal office environment. Regular use of computer screens. Travel within the affiliate for training and schedule flexibility. Travel outside the affiliate for classroom sessions.
