If this sounds like an organization you would like to be part of, we would love to meet you.The Medical Assistant will support various providers, advanced providers, and registered nurses to provide excellent patient-centered care and services within a dynamic team environment. This role will communicate with patients and performs clinical services to ensure high quality patient care in a fast-paced environment. Schedule: Monday-Friday, 8am-5pm.ResponsibilitiesCommunicates and performs clinical care services with patientsTakes patient vital signs and obtains patient intake informationPerforms clinical procedures such as blood draws, vaccines, nebulizer treatments, ear lavages, and EKGsDiscusses patient needs and provides education and resources to patients directlyEnsures exam rooms are stocked, cleaned, and set up for examinations and proceduresCoordinates provider workflows to ensure efficient patient careEnsures provider has all pertinent information required for each patient visit including diagnostic images, labs and required screeningsAssists other providers and care teams in women's health, pediatrics and general medicine departments as neededUtilizes electronic health records to order, process and document clinical treatment plans for patient as directed by the providerConveys information to patients via telephone or email under the direction of a provider or Registered NurseProvides patient with requested documents after review to ensure forms are complete, accurate and executed by the providerCompletes ongoing/annual training for position complianceQualificationsEducation/ExperienceHigh School diploma or GED requiredValid Medical Assistant Certificate from an accredited program requiredCurrent Basic Life Support (BLS) certification is required upon hire and must be maintained as a condition of employment. While this range represents the broader classification of the role, actual compensation will be based on several factors, including but not limited to: the candidate's overall knowledge, skills, and experience, market data and industry benchmarks, internal equity within the organization, Budgetary considerations and organizational needs. As a result, placement within the range is not guaranteed, and the full pay grade range may not be utilized.
