What You’ll Do As a Barista you’llprepare beverages andservegrab & go fare in a friendly,cleanand upbeat atmosphere.Your responsibilities will include: Welcome and connectwith every guest. Discover customer needs and appropriately suggest products with every customer to enhance service and meet sales goals. Prepares beverages to Alyeska standards. Follows health, safety, and sanitation guidelines for all products. Follows standards for merchandising, stocking, rotating, and storing products. Performs cleaning tasksin accordance withthe duty rosters and cleaning standards. Presents oneself professionally anddemonstratesclear communication with all guests. Follows cash handling procedures and cash register policies. Contributes to store goals for increasing sales and improving profits. Is responsible forself-initiated learning. Experience in similar server setting preferred. Experience in a customer service setting. The ability to multitask while providing exceptional guest service. Ability to read, write, andcomprehendsimple instructions, short correspondence, and memos. Ability to effectively present information on one-on-one and small group situations to customers, clients, and other employees of the organization. Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals. Ability to compute rate, ratio, and percentage.
