Financial Analyst - Naples, FL Salary: $85,000 - $90,000 Other Compensation: Merit Increases Location: Hybrid work‑from‑home with regular onsite presence at Moorings Park in Naples, FL. Candidates must currently live within a reasonable drivable distance of Naples, FL. Key Responsibilities Compiles new and rebid pro‑forma and analyzes for accuracy Prepares and analyzes monthly management reporting, new, rebid and lost business reporting, and weekly Business Owner Reports Provides financial guidance to operating units within the region on matters involving client returns, revenue and profitability goals Improves financial status by compiling and analyzing budgets and forecasts, monitoring variances, identifying trends, and considering “what if” scenarios to recommend improvements to the Director of Finance Documents and maintains complete and accurate supporting information for all financial transactions Provides accurate and timely reporting on the financial activity of individual projects Creates and designs reports and spreadsheets; establishes and maintains a database to organize, collect, and upload data into required reporting formats Conducts audits at each location 6 times a year Performs internal audits 6‑7 times a year Manages approximately 91 days of auditing activity per year Preferred Qualifications Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance from a four‑year college or university Three to five years of related experience in foodservice Strong analytical skills and ability to interpret financial reports, legal documents, and technical data Excellent communication skills and proficiency in Microsoft Office, including Word, PowerPoint, and Excel Proficiency in SAP, Excel, PowerPoint, and Access Ability to calculate and analyze figures such as discounts, interest, commissions, percentages, area, circumference, and volume Strong organization, time management, negotiation, and presentation skills Knowledge of generally accepted accounting principles (GAAP) Ability to define problems, collect data, establish facts, and draw valid conclusions Benefits Medical Dental Vision Life Insurance / AD Disability Insurance Retirement Plan Flexible Time Off Paid Parental Leave Holiday Time Off (varies by site/state) Personal Leave Associate Shopping Program Health and Wellness Programs Discount Marketplace Identity Theft Protection Pet Insurance Commuter Benefits Employee Assistance Program Flexible Spending Accounts (FSAs) Compass Group is an equal opportunity employer.
