We are hiring for a nocturnist position. A nocturnist role requires working exclusively overnight shifts. Candidates must be comfortable with a nocturnal schedule and possess the ability to deliver exceptional patient care during nighttime hours.

• Join our closely knit, established team of 8 physicians supported by a Program Coordinator.
• We have a stable team that is steadily expanding. We are looking to add more clinicians to our growing practice.
• Maria Parham Hospital is a Duke LifePoint Healthcare system and is a well-established hospital in Henderson, NC, offering a wide range of services, including OB/GYN, Psychiatry, Pulmonology, Cardiology, Radiology, Gastroenterology, General Surgery, Critical Care, Orthopedics, Hematology Oncology coverage, and multidisciplinary collaboration.
• We welcome complex cases while ensuring our team is supported with resources

Qualifications:

• Board-certified physician with experience in hospital medicine or a desire to transition into the field.
• Ability to work well in a team-based environment, focusing on collaboration and patient-centered care.
• H1B and J1 candidates are invited to apply; access to Sound's in-house visa specialists, as well as our licensing and credentialing experts; all required filing fees for the visa are paid, and services are covered

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide hospitalist care in an open ICU environment and PCU with intensivist coverage during the day, staffed by physician nocturnists with intensivist consult support for coverage at night. Procedures are not required.
• Participate in the code team, with certification in Basic Life Support (BLS) and Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS).
• Focus on delivering high-quality care while benefiting from a flexible schedule, allowing for time with family, friends, and personal interests.
• Work closely with hospital colleagues across departments, serving on committees and contributing to hospital-wide initiatives like reducing hospital-acquired infections (HAIs).

Scheduling:

• Nocturnist hours are 7p-7a, 7-days-on, 7-days-off with schedule flexibility.

• The town is ideally situated less than 1/2 hour from Raleigh, NC, known for technology, and scholarly institutions and under two hours from the beach and three hours from the mountains, providing the perfect blend of outdoor adventure and relaxation.

Rewards and Compensation:

• Yearly comp is $380k for nocturnists.
