Responsibilities and Duties: 

Assisting the cook/manager, preparation of meals, cleanliness, serving the dining room

Qualifications and Skills: 

experience helpful but not mandatory

Dietary Aide:

Duties and Responsibilities:

Serving of food items

Delivering of food carts to resident floors

Prepares snacks in accordance with the posted menu schedule; makes sure that all special diets and dietary concerns are followed.

Working on the tray line

Responsible for keeping work area clean, organized, sanitized

Maintains a safe, clean and respectable work environment.

Working in the dish room and pot sink

Sweeping and mopping

Disposal of trash and recyclables

Per Diem Duties as outlined by Director of Dietary

Attends and participates in continuing educational programs.

Requirements

Ability to perform job responsibilities

Ability to speak English adequately to perform job

High school diploma or general education degree (GED).

Must be at least 18 years of age.

Must be interested in geriatrics, be able to read, write, speak, and understand the English language.

Knowledgeable of dietary techniques and procedures.

Be able to lift up to 25 pounds frequently and/or 50 pounds occasionally.
