Required Skills & Experience

3 to 5+ years of Clinical Documentation Improvement (CDI) experience\nThey need to be an RN (Registered Nurse)\nStrong understanding of PDX (Primary Diagnosis) shifting\nExperience reviewing clinical documentation for accuracy and reimbursement optimization\nKnowledge of healthcare compliance and regulatory requirements\nStrong computer skills and ability to work within EMR/documentation systems\nExcellent attention to detail and communication skills

Nice to Have Skills & Experience

CCDS, CDIP, RHIA, RHIT, RN, or related certification\nExperience in large health systems or revenue cycle environments\nAdvanced knowledge of DRG optimization, CC/MCC capture, and coding guidelines
