Director, RWE Analysis and Programming - Medial Affairs Research

Gilead Sciences seeks a Director of RWE Analysis and Programming for its Medical Affairs Research function. This leadership role oversees data collection, analysis, and visualization initiatives while driving organizational data maturity, financial planning, and continuous improvement across the group.

Responsibilities

• Champion adoption of data collection, analysis, and visualization practices; drive organizational progression along data maturity continuum
• Develop and maintain knowledge management systems for efficient data storage, retrieval, and analysis with rigorous data governance
• Conduct operations research projects to identify performance optimization and cost/risk minimization opportunities
• Partner cross-functionally on business planning and KPI development; publish dashboards and reports on performance and risk
• Lead financial planning cycles and cost analyses to support strategic objectives and operational efficiency

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in technical or business field (computer science, statistics, data management, engineering, business, finance); or Master's with 10+ years experience
• 12+ years progressive experience in technical field with demonstrated advanced analytical skills
• Proficiency with data analysis tools such as R, Python, and Tableau for visualization and reporting
• Strong financial acumen with experience developing and monitoring large multi-currency budgets
• Proven track record in business performance reporting, process optimization, and systems improvement
• Experience in pharmaceutical or highly regulated sector with knowledge of data governance standards
• Demonstrated people management experience with ability to influence cross-functionally and drive organizational change

Compensation: $226,185–$292,710 base
