Safety.Position OverviewWe are seeking an experienced Senior Drywall Estimator to lead detailed, high-impact estimating efforts for drywall, metal framing, and interior systems projects across the East Coast.This role is critical to supporting Optiline's regional and multi-market growth strategy. You will be responsible for pricing work in both established and expanding markets, ensuring estimates reflect local conditions, labor dynamics, and project-specific risks.This is a technical, production-focused role-ideal for someone who understands drywall construction at a deep level and can translate real-world field conditions into accurate, scalable estimates across multiple regions.Key ResponsibilitiesEstimating & Preconstruction (Multi-Market)Perform detailed quantity takeoffs and prepare estimates for projects across the East CoastAnalyze drawings, specifications, and bid documents across varying jurisdictions and market conditionsDevelop accurate, competitive bids aligned with regional labor, logistics, and material considerationsAdjust pricing strategies based on market-specific risks, union pressure, and project complexityDrywall-Specific ExpertiseInterpret UL assemblies, rated systems, shaft walls, and finish levels across diverse project typesApply strong knowledge of drywall production, sequencing, and installation methodsIdentify constructability challenges and proactively incorporate solutions into estimatesCost Control & Risk ManagementEvaluate risks related to geography, labor availability, schedule, and site conditionsEnsure estimates reflect true execution cost across different markets-not generalized assumptionsSupport value engineering while maintaining margin disciplineVendor & Internal CollaborationBuild and manage relationships with regional vendors and suppliersCollaborate with Preconstruction, Project Management, and Field Leadership across multiple marketsParticipate in bid reviews, pursuit strategy, and project handoffsQualifications5+ years of experience in commercial drywall and framing estimatingExperience bidding projects across multiple regions or markets preferredStrong understanding of drywall systems, assemblies, and field executionAbility to read and interpret architectural and structural drawingsProficiency in estimating software (On-Screen Takeoff, Quick Bid, or similar)Strong analytical, organizational, and time management skillsAbility to manage multiple bids across different markets simultaneouslyExcellent communication and collaboration skillsAuthorized to work in the United StatesWhat We're Looking ForWe're looking for someone who:Takes ownership and operates with accountability across all estimatesUnderstands how regional differences impact cost, labor, and riskBrings a field-first mindset to estimating-not just theoryCommunicates clearly and operates with integrityThrives in a fast-paced, growth-oriented environmentWhat We OfferCompetitive salary based on experience and performanceOpportunity to work on projects across multiple regions and marketsCareer growth into Lead Estimator or Preconstruction leadership rolesMentorship from senior leadershipFull benefits package (health, dental, vision, 401k, PTO)A strong, team-oriented culture focused on accountability and growthApply TodayJoin Optiline Enterprises and be part of a company that's building more than projects-we're building careers across the East Coast.Submit your application through iSolved or send your resume to: View email address on us.fitly.work Optiline will conduct a crimimal background check for this position upon offer acceptance.
