Job Description Estimator - Commercial RoofingGreenbrier, TN (Just north of Nashville)JRC, Inc. is a nationwide construction company headquartered in Greenbrier, Tennessee. Specializing in commercial roofing, siding, and exterior improvements, we're currently active in 48 states - and growing. We're looking for an experienced Commercial Roofing Estimator to join our team in-office at our corporate headquarters.What You'll Do:Prepare comprehensive and accurate bid proposals, including detailed breakdowns for labor, materials, equipment, and subcontractor costs.Perform project take-offs from architectural and construction drawings.Generate timely cost estimates for both low-slope and steep-slope commercial roofing projects.Prepare submittals for contract projects and assist with change orders as needed.Transition awarded bids to the Production team to ensure a smooth project handoff and launch.Communicate with clients, vendors, and team members to gather necessary information and ensure project requirements are met.Participate in pre-bid meetings and occasionally conduct site visits to support ongoing projects and enhance client relationships.What We're Looking For:3+ years of commercial roofing estimating experienceStrong understanding of commercial and industrial roofing systems (TPO, EPDM, PVC, shingles, etc.)Proficient in project take-offs and reading blueprints/specificationsExperience with Excel, On-Screen Takeoff, and Bid Estimating SoftwareAbility to prepare accurate project submittals and track change ordersExcellent organizational, analytical, and communication skillsValid driver's license in good standingWhat We Offer:Competitive compensation - Full-time salaried position401(k) with employer matchHealth Insurance - Medical, Dental, VisionCompany-paid life insurancePaid Time Off (PTO) and HolidaysPositive, family-oriented work environmentIf you're ready to bring your estimating expertise to a company that's building across the nation - and build your future in the heart of Tennessee - we want to hear from you.
